Micanite band heater.

Heating elements in the form of bands are designed for even distribution of heat on oval surfaces. Band heaters are mainly used in machines for processing plastics, such as injectors, extruders, etc. The micanite heater operates at a temperature of 350°C with a power cord connection of 1mb in length, which is welded at a 45° angle. The internal insulation is made of fiberglass-teflon, while the external one is a metal braid. The electrical insulation is made of high purity mica with very low presence of a binding agent. Nickel/chrome winding at a ratio of 80/20

The surface load capacity is 5 W/cm2.
