Boiler radiator for water heating type KGW, intended for utility water.

Acid-resistant execution includes the following set of materials:

• jacket of tubular heating elements: acid-resistant/stainless steel
• mounting sleeves: acid-resistant/stainless steel
• mounting plate: acid-resistant/stainless steel
• connection box: acid-resistant/stainless steel

Individual heaters in the KGW heating set are made for a voltage of 400V - connected in a triangle. The permissible temperature of the heated medium for the KGW radiator is 100°C. The KGW heating set is designed to work in a tank with a pressure not higher than 0.4 MPa.

KGW type radiators are produced in three sizes of the mounting plate: 1. "Small" plate - a maximum of 6 tubular heating elements (3 internal, 3 external). 2. "Medium" plate - a maximum of 12 tubular heating elements (6 internal, 6 external). 3. "Small" plate - a maximum of 18 tubular heating elements (9 internal, 9 external).

Information on mounting and installing the radiator The radiator must be installed to the tank housing in such a position that the tubular heating elements are completely immersed in the liquid. The tank should have a flange with an applied gasket made of plate resistant to the action and temperature of the medium. The mounting screws should have a thread size of M10 and a minimum length of 40mm. The electrical connectors and the grounding terminal of the radiator are located under the cover and marked with appropriate symbols. The terminals have the size of M6. The connection cable should be introduced under the radiator cover through the bushing. After installing the bushing, it must be tightened to secure the cable, and then the terminal block cover must be tightened carefully. Radiators are supplied without a connection cable, flange gasket and mounting screws.

The radiator is the current version of the no longer produced ELCAL radiators.
